Use friction to describe ekman tranport

The friction of the wind of the surface of water set the water molecule in motion. The moving water trnfers energy through friction to deeper water, and the deeper water shifts to right of the water pushing it. As a result, the currens as a whole moves to the right of the wind.

list and discuss the three ways currents are formed

Three ways currents are are by wind, sea levels and changes in water densities. One way the currents are formed is by wind blowing long enough in one direction it will cause a water current to develop. Also changes in sea level by a force called the pressure gradient force.Lastly currents are caused by variations in water density ,high salinity waters moving to lower salinity waters.

How does the layers of atmosphere regulate our climate\environment?

The layers of the atmosphere help protect to earth from UV rays . Because the layer absorb about 50% of UV rays. It also help regulate the climate by allowing earth to have four season and stop the having extreme season such as an ice age in winter and a vast desert in August.

Why is the sun important to life and the conditions necessary for it?

The sun is important to life because to sun provides energy through photons and uv rays to all of life processes. The sun regulate the earth temperture by increaseing the molcular vibration. The sun relate the winds and the force called the cociolis effect.
